The favorite acronym of a fondly remembered mentor was Wild Assed Guess. He favored taking WAGs on issues, then proving or disproving them as possible. Wasn’t a bad method, basically establishing a thesis to be examined. He also used WAG for Writings Analysis Group. He was very kind to me. RIP TAN Jr.
